Seegras Handlebars are made of an extremely solid aluminium alloy. The used material has outstanding values of tensile strength and elasticity and is therefore also used in aircraft construction.

At the point of highest torque the metal has a thickness of almost 3 mm (0,12") and will bear up against any strain.

Both types are tested and approved by TÜV (German Technical Inspection Authority). Based DIN-standard was DIN 14766 (for mountain bikes ...the hardest!). Download the TÜV expert's report here.
